Michael,

Of course, you can show this letter to J as you said you would like to do. I know he was having a hard time after the three of you retired from service. Ten years is more than a respectable period of time to be in this line of work. And even though many may not know what all of you did, those who do know, greatly appreciate your sacrifices.

When J is ready, perhaps he would like to join me in teaching a few courses here at the ranch. I believe you will agree that his credentials as a psychologist are excellent and I am sure the classes would be of great interest to many who train here. Some ideas follow.

Fear and the marksman.
Seize the moment (J should really appreciate this one).
Practice and the art of visualization.
Your brain, the first line of defense.

As far as your request for me to check the confirmed goblins put down by J, my sources feel that 23 is an accurate total. That number then confirms what Chauncey believes.

Frankly, I am concerned after hearing that Chauncey has been ill. I certainly hope he will recover soon. Please send my regards to him.

Semper Fi,
